Bristol City FC is a professional football club based in Bristol, England. They currently compete in the EFL Championship, the second tier of English football. The club was founded in 1894 and plays its home matches at Ashton Gate Stadium, which has a capacity of around 27,000.

Bristol City has a strong fanbase and has spent most of its history fluctuating between the second and third tiers of English football. They have ambitions of reaching the Premier League, a feat they haven't achieved since the old First Division days in the early 1900s.
